In the Winelands, experience an eco wine safari, a chocolate-and-wine pairing, and tastings at renowned estates.
Your adventure ends with a three-night stay at Sashwa River of Stars, where dawn and dusk safaris, guided bush walks, and stargazing bring you up close to South Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and more.

Arrival in Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel, where your South African adventure begins.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Settle into your well-appointed hotel, relax after your travels, and get your first taste of local South African fare.

Boulders Beach Kayaking

Start your morning with a wellness class and breakfast before enjoying the amenities of the hotel.
Later in the morning, set off for the stunning Cape Peninsula to experience one of the most memorable activities of the trip: kayaking at Boulders Beach. Explore the crystal-clear waterways of this beautiful coastal region as you glide past rugged coves and dramatic shoreline. Keep an eye out — you might even catch a glimpse of the famous African penguins waddling across the boulders.
After drying off, enjoy an included lunch overlooking the ocean. Later in the afternoon, return to the hotel for time at leisure before ending the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Table Mountain Hike

After an early breakfast, depart the hotel for your Table Mountain hike.
Today’s route takes you up Platteklip Gorge, the oldest and most direct trail to the summit. This popular path winds through a dramatic ravine, offering sweeping views and unforgettable photo opportunities of Cape Town and the imposing cliffs of Table Mountain.
After returning from the hike, enjoy lunch at leisure and the remainder of the afternoon to relax at the hotel. Later in the evening, head out for dinner at a local restaurant.

Cape Winelands & Eco Wine Safari

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer into the magical Cape Winelands for a day of unforgettable tastings and vineyard views.
Your day begins with the Avondale Eco Wine Safari, a unique journey aboard a safari-style vehicle through this remarkable biodynamic estate. Taste award-winning wines among the vineyards while learning what makes this terrain so diverse and unique. Light snacks, thoughtfully paired to complement each wine, will accompany your tasting.
From there, continue to Boschendal Wine Farm for a decadent chocolate pairing. Their handcrafted chocolates are designed to elevate the flavors of their wines, creating a tasting experience you won’t soon forget.
After your tastings, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening on the property grounds.

Stellenbosch Wine Tasting

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a relaxed morning at the hotel, where you may enjoy the amenities or join an optional wellness activity with fellow travelers.
Once refreshed, begin your day at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate for a guided tasting of their distinctive wines. Enjoy lunch at leisure on the estate before returning to the hotel to freshen up.
This evening, enjoy dinner at Tokara Restaurant, or a similar local restaurant, known for elevated cuisine and sweeping views of the Stellenbosch Valley.

Sashwa River of Stars Safari Begins

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival, check in at Sashwa River of Stars for the final three nights of your unforgettable South African experience.
Once settled in, enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out for your first afternoon safari in search of the Big Five: African elephant, African lion, African leopard, African buffalo, and rhinoceros. Return to the lodge for dinner and take in the beauty of the nighttime stars all around you.

Wildlife, Wellness & Campfires

Start your day with an early morning safari in the private reserve. After searching for the Big Five, return to the lodge for a healthy breakfast.
During the afternoon, relax and enjoy the hotel amenities or partake in an optional wellness activity with the group before heading out for another afternoon safari. Close the day with an unforgettable dinner, campfires, and laughs with your fellow travelers.

Bush Walk & Afternoon Safari

Start the day with an early morning African sunrise and explore the bush on foot with trained field guides, bringing you closer to the natural beauty of Abelana Game Reserve.
After lunch at the lodge, enjoy the hotel amenities or partake in an optional wellness activity with the rest of your group. Later in the afternoon, depart for another safari in the bush before closing the day with dinner at the lodge.

Departure
